A young man from my hometown, my son’s best friend, someone I taught and coached for 4 years, and an upcoming UGA junior fell 15-20 ft at work on Wednesday. He landed on his back and suffered some spine injuries, skull fractures, spleen injuries, and has a blood clot on his brain. He is currently in surgery for his spine. He has movement in all limbs and has been responsive to all commands. Neurology has stated he has exceeded their expectations but he obviously has several weeks and months of healing.
Just pray for him and his family. His sweet mother is there with him. His dad passed away suddenly when he was in my wife’s 5th grade class. His name is Jackson and he truly is an awesome young man!
