Since the Vent knows all, I was curious if we have any people here who hold volunteer positions at the Masters? If so would you be willing to share how you can go about putting your name in the proverbial hat?
I have read writing the club directly and expressing interest in volunteering can work, but often takes years. I’ve also read that people have randomly gone up to the volunteer staging area and just asked if there is a need for volunteers during their day at the tournament and they’ve lucked into a vacancy due to sickness or injury of a previously scheduled volunteer. Of course I’ve also read the best way is to know and be recommended by a current volunteer.
Anyways, any info y’all may have on the process would be greatly appreciated!
