Question for regular posters on Chat

Dem and Republicans, do you consider yourself as a person of faith, do you believe in Jesus the Christ and do you believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God?
I’m hoping most of you will reply because this isn’t to judge or condemn if you think differently. I’m just trying to understand the different political views and whether or not there is a correlation between party and a belief system.

I grew up in the Church of Christ and I believe in a higher power. I’m not opposed to church at all, but I feel I’ve gotten what I can from going every week, so I don’t go to church regularly. My daughters enjoy their involvement and I think it provides a good moral foundation.

I grew up in the United Methodist church but left about 20 years ago as we saw the liberal direction of the church. We now attend a very loving and spiritual Baptist church that preaches and teaches the word of God and has a heart for local missions.
