As a kid I remember three things standing out when I turned on the TV and I instantly recognized it was Georgia.
1. Of course the famous hedges.
2. The silver britches with the 3 colored stripe unique to us.
3. The field had no logos or markings outside of numbers every 5 yards which was very unique.
My question is what is the story behind that. I know Goff added Georgia in one end zone and Bulldogs in the other. I think Donnan added the G. Do any of you know for sure the history behind the no logos and every 5 yard markings?
