I read a number of post on a daily basis and have some comments and concerns:
1. I have been following GA Football Recruiting since 1981. I still have magazines from several " recruiting experts". I love to see commitments but we must remember they must sign. Over those years I have seen a number commit and then go elsewhere to our benefit and to our detriment. Let's keep in mind that we need to get very excited about the signees.
2. I see some who are upset that we are not ranked # 1 in all preseason polls. We have a quarterback that has never started a college football game. I can understand some concerns as I have concerns.
3. Everyone wants the 5 star players. The rankings are totally subjective. Many 3 stars are as good as 5 stars.
4 While Kirby desires much credit for the players we ultimately sign he does have an excellent group of assistants who do much of the work of making all of this happen.
