…. Curious if Truss has ever been given an opportunity out there? I’m having trouble remembering if we‘ve tried him there in the past or not? He certainly has the size/length … not sure on his quickness/mobility, but he looks like a prototypical LT. Greene was the #2 Guard in the U.S. coming out of HS, wondering if this a classic case of attempting to convert an Elite interior OL to T (like CMR‘s staff attempted to do many times). Also concerned about his long-term durability after back surgery?
We are so dang loaded @ DL … I can’t help but wonder if we would try to take someone like T.I.D., a big, strong, tall and hellaciously athletic DL and give him a shot out there? He absolutely looks the part and if he’s not solidly in the 2-deep @ DL, maybe it would be worth possibly giving him a look?
