What really stood out to me, which I have seen all year, is RL2 lack of tackling. Dayne highlights 2 plays where he totally hits the Texas player straight up and totally gets shed away. The first is where he fills the gap on a running play perfectly, the RB just stops and sort of squares up expecting to be tackled and RL2 just hits him and slides off. Have no idea how that is not a TFL. The second is the reverse WR pass play where RL2 crashes down on the open TE for the pass and could have stopped him for a 4-5 yd gain, but again hits the TE, does not wrap up, and the TE breaks free to almost get a 1st down, only to be tackled not for a 1st down because Brenton Cox is playing hard and trailing the play. Honestly, I do not understand why he is still starting with Kirby's philosophy that the best players play. It is weird how Kirby seems to pick his places on that rule. It is a sure head scratcher to me.
