Kirby isn’t going to upset the apple cart for a safety. Albeit Downs is an all world safety. Ed Reed in my opinion is both the greatest college and pro safety of all time. Reed was drafted with the 24th pick. That shows you what the NFL thinks of safeties. If we wanted to buy a safety, wouldn’t it have been easier to back up the Brinks truck to Bullard’s house for one more year? Bullard had an unbelievable career and he will be lucky to go in the second round. I need convincing that this is going to happen. Please try to convince me. I will be surprised and thrilled if Downs chooses to transfer to UGA.
