tonight. Did we play great? No. But I’m actually happy that we had some bumps early and overcame those. Got a win tonight while playing well, but not great. That kind of thing goes a long way.
I’ve always thought that the 2011 game football game flipped the Georgia/ Florida series. Went down to Jacksonville and played a pretty good game, but not a great one, nobody did anything legendary, there was no weirdness like Florida having just fired their coach. Just went down there, played pretty well, and won. And all the Florida mystique was gone after that.
Do I think tonight carries those types of ramifications? Of course not. But sometimes a win when everything isn’t perfect is just what you need.
