Good morning UJD, 911, and all you truly good yet deplorable Dawgs (you know who you are and who you ain’t)……Mother’s Day this Sunday….Don’t you dare forget……And it won’t hurt to buy a little something for your wife…..We’re closing in on another weekend….time is just flying by……Take care fellow Dawgs…..
UGA SPORTS SPOTLIGHT:
I’m gonna mention a Dawg great in the UGA football spotlight section this morning, just to make sure at least something Dawg is mentioned today in this “DAWGChat” forum………Today’s DGD in the spotlight is former Dawg Wide Receiver Gene Washington………..
Yesterday Tron Jackson was featured in the UGA Spotlight…….Tron was electrifying, and so was Gene Washington……Gene finished his UGA career with almost 2800 yards of total offense scoring 12 touchdowns……He’s another Dawg in that 2000 Yard Club……It was just Gene Washington being in the game and how he played that was so exciting to watch……While at UGA, Washington was recognized as one of the three fastest humans in the World……Yep he had World Class speed…….For those that doubt Gene Washington was Mr. Excitement, consider this…….He ended his UGA 4 year career with a 25.2 yards per reception average, setting a UGA record……I repeat, that’s in a career, a 4 season career (1973-1976), not one game or one season……That’s an amazing stat……His average gain every time he touched the football was the second most in UGA history when he graduated…….
Gene Washington is best known for being on the receiving end of the famous Appleby to Washington end-around pass that was the winning score against heavily favored Florida in 1975 in Jacksonville…..BTW, he went 3-1 vs the Gators…..For those reasons, he was inducted into the Georgia-Florida Hall of Fame………Enjoy this little 2 minute video of Gene Washington……Tell me he wasn’t exciting to watch…..
One of only three of the first UGA football players since the 1940s to letter four consecutive seasons (along with Butch Box and Allan Leavitt in 1973-74-75-76)………In high school, Jackson ran the 100 yard dash in 9.2 seconds……He held the State Of South Carolina HS record and national HS record……He only ran track one meet at UGA, no preparation, but still ran a 9.5 100 to win the event……

TODAY’S @$$HOLE OF THE DAY:
Herman Webster Mudgett, aka Dr. Henry Howard Holmes or, more commonly known as H. H. Holmes, was an American serial killer……While he confessed to 27 murders, only nine could be confirmed…… Many of his victims were killed in an old hotel building which he owned, located about 3 miles west of the 1893 World's Fair: Columbian Exposition…..It was often called the World's Fair Hotel (informally called "The Murder Castle")…….
Along with being a serial killer, Holmes was also a con artist and a bigamist, the subject of more than 50 lawsuits in Chicago alone…….H. H. Holmes was executed on May 7, 1896, nine days before his 35th birthday, for the murder of his friend and accomplice Benjamin Pitezel…….During his trial for the murder of Pitezel, Holmes confessed to many other killings…….. Some of his victims: Julia Smythe and daughter Pearl; Emeline Cigrande; Edna Van Tassel; Benjamin Pitezel; Minnie Williams;……..
H. H. Holmes was executed on May 7, 1896, nine days before his 35th birthday……He’s now burning in h@ll, like he should……..But on this 124th anniversary of that rope tightening up around his neck, allow me to anoint him @$$Hole of the Day…….Just another crazy SOB in this world, this one taking innocent lives for his pleasure……Read up on him sometimes—he’s both weird and crazy……He deserves to burn in h@ll………
As always my good Dawg friends, I hope y’all have a Great Bulldawg Day…..Stay Safe…..help MAGA…….and God Bless…….
