After watching Kirby’s post-game last night, I reflected on the current state of Georgia football:
- while the fan base is providing day-to-day opinions on play calls, coordinators, player development, and forecasting our ability to threepeat, Kirby is building teamwork and cohesiveness with yet another group of young men at the highest level in college football. We have no peers.
- no SEC remains unbeaten after six weeks except one, Georgia.
- week-in and week-out, Kirby and staff are managing injuries, substitutions, and developing depth like no other team.
- while we’re ranked #1 for the third year in a row, “how” this program is managed has no peers.
- leadership in the Locker room is second to none, we have no peers.
- Dawgs, please enjoy this special ride. Please don’t take for granted “ugly” wins at Auburn…or at home against USC. Or destroying KY like a high school team.
one day, these days will be looked upon at the most dominant football runs in history….not just at Georgia.
- Kirby is a tireless worker, committed to excellence at the highest level, has a great football mind, and he’s a special leader.
- And he loves Georgia more Than all of us…and surrounds himself with players and coaches with the same passion.

enjoy these times.
