Richt hired all of these people and is responsible for this mess. WTF, our AD is Retarded.

I don't believe that's how it's going down. I believe ADGM is forcing CMR to do what he should do. It's his team and coaches. HIS mess. HE needs to stand up and figure it out. They gave him all the tools. If he picks Schotty over Pruitt, it's on him. He hired them. Let's face it, for years, even before ADGM, there were many, many who thought CMR was NO manager. I believe many, many more and those in the "arena" now know it's true.
All that said, some of the rumors about Pruitt, if true, will put a whole different light on the situation.
No one knows anything that is concrete. That said, if Pruitt did yell a Richt, he frigging only did what countless uga fans have wanted to do.

I think Tracy Rocker would do well and I know he's well liked. By all, top to bottom.
It was way more than yelling and Pruitt was WAY out of line. Basically being insubordinate. I want Richt replaced but JP is too loose of a cannon. There is a reason that FSU did not resist him leaving and it had more than him philandering with the coeds.
What this looks like is Pruitt is being scape goated for telling truth to power.
If there is a problem between Richt and Pruitt, fire Richt, keep Pruitt.
As for ''being insubordinate'' , did he refuse direct orders ? or was it just him stating the obvious and Richt not wanting to hear it ?
I don't understand the love affair with Pruitt? I have seen a defense that has vastly underperformed for two years. I don't see Florida's first year coach under performing....
The story goes that JP was lobbying certain people to fire CMR. Now I agree that this staff and program is completely FUBARED but you just can't have that. JP gambled and lost. Now while he may get what he wanted, CMR fired. He will never get the job and has done considerable damage to his career. Rightly or wrongly, many in the administration were already weary of JP.
Where are you hearing this stuff? Are you really putting faith in rumors? How would you even know any of this, even if it were true? Were you there when it happened?
I'll have to see evidence of Pruitt lobbying for Richt's job. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but that is a big accusation unless there is REAL proof.
Yeah man, I was standing right there when it all went down. Look I can just tell you what I hear from people that are close to the program. Would I swear on it or put my life on it, NO. Most of the time this guy has been spot on.

That said, he's got tons of experience and I just personally think he'd be good. Lots of energy there to fire them up. Can he game plan? I believe with his experience he could. Bobo did it with a lot less experience. But it's JMO.

An ole-fashioned coup d etat by an ambitious junior officer...sometimes it works, sometimes it backfires. I'm not sure what Pruitt was thinking if this was the case. Despite his coaching foibles, Mark Richt is a universally respected in his profession and I can't see any way this wouldn't reflect badly on Pruitt if he got UGA to fire Richt. This is nothing like the Fulmer-Majors incident when Johnny Majors' health was a factor.

Experience isn't the most important thing when it comes to being qualified to be a DC. It takes a very different set of abilities than working one on one with players.
Rocker has been around a really long time and he's still a position coach. That tells me in all likelihood that is where is talent lies.
I am sorry, this rumor is just crazy. So this happened yet JP is still working there?
