On Beck: I think he has timing and touch. A little bit more of a rhythmic type thrower. When has to put the pedal to the medal (Did you have to use that idiom, Rick?) you see him really put some velocity on the ball throwing in tight windows. He is athletic enough. He's not gonna keep a DC up at night with his athleticism, but he can make some plays with his legs. Biggest knock on him right now is on the plus 50 yard throws, he puts too much air under the ball. He's got to learn how to layer the ball in with velocity and touch at times. Puts too much air under there and under throws his receivers. Think it's all a matter of experience with him. Of all the QBs I looked at, I thought he was the best and he's probably the one that's gonna take another jump this year and will clearly be the number one QB by the time everything is said and done.
