Talked with Grady High School defensive back Marlon Character this morning. He tells me a decision is right around the corner, but one of his top schools has not visited nor contacted him as of late.
"Georgia hasn't talked with me since spring game," Character said. "Miami came by today."
While Georgia remains in the mix to land the four-star defender, it will be interesting to see if the Bulldogs have a higher plan A on their board at the moment. On the opening day of coaching visits a couple of weeks ago, Georgia saw 30+ in-state prospects including Nigel Warrior, Baylen Buchanan, Dylan Singleton, Tyrique McGhee, and a few others. Character was not one of the in-state defensive backs that received a visit on that day.
We will monitor this over the next several weeks.
