Tomorrow morning I arise with before the sun and begin my journey to the holy land to watch some hillbillies get beat up. I've made this trek from my hometown Chattanooga several times and more recently from Warner Robins.
This time I will be making the trip from the Huntsville, AL area for the first time. My options are to (a) cut over to I-75 through Summerville and go south to I-285, then back up I-85 or (b) to go down I-65 to Birmingham and take I-20 though ATL to Madison approaching Athens from the south.
Dear Venters, which would be the recommended route? I am travelling solo and I have a parking pass in the McPhaul Lot if that matters.
