After 14 years, I had to sit in the vet's office and watch as they put my favorite boy to sleep today. To say it was painful is an understatement. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, even though I know most of us (myself included) will have to do it in the future.
Please say a prayer for my wife and daughters, if you think of it. Although it was hard on me, it was even worse trying to console my little girls as they cried uncontrollably this afternoon.
