NE Patriots when they won 3 Super Bowls and former Assistant GM for the Falcons
when they went to the Super Bowl, said this morning on the NFL Channel that he has no problem with what the Falcons did in drafting Penix at number 8. He said that the Falcons have secured their QB room with two quality QBs and that the money they are paying Cousins is not a problem, that it is in line with today’s QB salaries, and that the guaranteed money is for two years only.

Domonique Foxworth, Chris Canty, Bucky Brooks, Tim Hasselbeck and a lot of other intelligent talking heads, who know a lot more than I and the fans, are saying the same thing as Pioli; some are reversing their initial opinion and are now supportive of the Falcons pick of Penix at number 8. When the pick was first announced, I was surprised but not disappointed. The more I think about it and listen to these gurus, the more I like it. How about you; anybody else coming around to Pioli’s thinking?
