The only thing we can guarantee is that without the SEC Title Game, a lost to Georgia Tech would eliminate us from playoff contention. If we lose to them now, we are still in with a win in the SEC Championship. I see absolutely no way that playing in the SEC Championship can hurt us, minus a critical player getting hurt in the game. However, it can certainly save us if we lost to the Nerds.
