Since we didn't make it into the UT game, my fallback plan was to snag tickets just for me and my son to the SECCG. So, assuming things play out as we expect...
The last time I attended a game in ATL was Kirby's first game vsUNC, so I'm a total noob when it comes to the Benz and acquiring SECCG tickets in general. Does the market follow the same rule as home games, with prices falling as the game approaches? Or would I be better off getting in now? I've only done some preliminary browsing, and prices on StubHub aren't too bad currently (not UT game level, at least).
As for seats, are there any sections of the Benz to avoid? I was looking at maybe picking up something in the lower half or so of the non-EZ 300 level. Prices seem to skyrocket for lower sections.
I haven't even started looking at hotels yet, but I'm assuming there will be good availability since it's ATL and not Athens.
TIA!
