Thinking about taking the family (5 of us) to the SEC Champ game. I know that prices typically fall as we get closer to kick, but was wondering if this year might be an exception. Since neither TX team has ever played in the game, I'm guessing demand will spike sharply after this weekend's game that decides which team is in. And, since both fan bases have deep pockets and the aforementioned pent-up demand, I'm guessing that demand may not cool like it typically does, and thus prices. I took my son to the 2022 game against LSU and I believe I bought 3 or 4 days before the game and got a good price.
So, I'm wondering if it would be prudent to lock in this week, before the opposing fan base punches its ticket to Atlanta (pun intended). I'd really like to go to a playoff game, but the SECCG is what typically works best with our extracurricular schedules.
Thoughts?
