I remember times when in interviews, Kirby Smart would basically say Stetson Bennett sucked and needed to be better when Bennett was playing great. That’s not the case now. Even when Carson Beck and the offense is struggling, he says he feels they are playing good. He coddles this offense and Beck. He does not ever look to be screaming in the headset like he did with Chaney and Monken.
What’s the change? Why is Kirby coddling this offense the way he is? This offense lacks leadership in a big way.
