A few answers for what happens on July 1:
1. There will be two networks, but under the same umbrella. Think about it like Coke and Sprite. Two products under the same ownership.
2. That won't affect sites like UGASports. We will still do everything the same. We will still cover the team and recruiting. We will still have all our shows and analysis. We will use their technology, though, running the site on the On3 infrastructure.
3. The national writers at On3 will focus on national college football stories. The national writers at Rivals will focus on national recruiting updates. (UGASports, of course, will focus on both.) This means the return of Chad Simmons, etc.
4. In some markets with one huge team site and one small team site, they will merge the sites. That won't happen in the Georgia market. You will get two sites for the price of one.
5. Your membership here will allow you to read all the On3 material and all of the Rivals content. Just log in. No need to pay for both.
6. You will be able to read and post on DawgsHQ and vice versa. As a courtesy, be sure to follow their rules on their board please. We will expect the On3 readers to follow our rules as well.
7. We have a lot more coming. This is only the start. Can't stress this enough. The combined networks will make this merger a powerhouse. The nation's biggest and best sites will all be together.
Will there be bumps? Sure.
Will the content change? Yes. You will be getting a ton more. Plus we will still do what made UGASports the market leader for almost three decades.
