A CS routine has been to shuffle people in during gsmes. Move player X from tackle to guard and bring a backup in. The upside is that you develop depth. The downside of this is that you get good at several positions but never great bc it's just different moving from tackle to guard or from left side to right side (stance, splits, etc).
Normally I wouldn't mind this strategy. But from what we saw on Saturday, it needs to get shut down. The lineup we had with Freeling on the left side, we just need to stick with it from now on. We played well and let them keep rolling. Greene can come off the bench when we get up big on Mass next week.
We weren't great with the run game on Saturday but we were efficient. We need to be more than that going forward.
