My Father in Law is a retired Colonel in the Air Force and a big Dawg fan. But he's been living up north of Dalton since retiring and he's just ready to move. He's 60 in great shape. He's looking for a community that has plenty of sociable things preferably walkable. His first though was near the beach in Florida but he'd also consider places near lakes. Basically he misses the social aspect of small town community feel he had while in the Air Force. His other daughter suggested a Latitude Margaritaville community near Daytona but I figured that was well overpriced. He would probably like a community like that or just a small town with character. Their current house is probably $600,000-$700,000 so I'm assuming that's what he would be looking to spend.. He also wants a man cave, deck and/or outdoor work area so he can go make his beer and watch footabll in peace. haha.
