No reason we shouldn’t. We have a lot of bullets in the chamber pitching wise. For all the talk about our offensive issues, we really have overmatched their hitters the last two games. No reason that shouldn’t continue today.

I will say this, based on the two trips I’ve made to Missouri (and none since 2016, so this might not have a lot of validity) - they play better in the day time there. They get more fans out and their team usually has more energy as a result. They’ll probably have more there today than they did Friday and last night combined.

I’m never going to be disappointed with a win in the SEC (even if Missouri is an SEC team only in the technical sense of the term) and especially with a road series win. These haven’t been very inspirational performances from us, specifically at the plate, the last two games. But, we’ve done what we had to do. These weren’t the games that we’ll remember fondly when this is all said and done, and that’s ok. They count the same.

I don’t know anyone - on this board or generally, that was looking forward to this weekend. I’m sure that the players and coaches felt the same way. I think you can see that mentality in how the first two games played out. Just get the win today and get back home … and hopefully we can feed off of what should be some more energy in the stadium this afternoon
