Could this be a game reminiscent to the Vols visiting Baton Rouge where the stadium was virtually empty (except Vol fans) by mid 3rd quarter? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm???

We hate Bobo’s scheme because it does not work against defenses with equal or better talent. There is rarely misdirection. He basically does not care if you know what is coming, because he depends on our guys being better than your guys. Unfortunately, this year because of NFL, injuries and suspensions, that is not us.

"We have the worst DC in the conference" Vol: Tim Banks isn't an elite DC! I have been saying this for years! He and Martinez aren't ever going to be ELITE, especially Martinez! Bobo made them look like fools! Where were some great blitz packages to rattle Beck? Where was the secondary? Where was the DL pressure? As usual, none of the secondary can turn their heads around to make a damn play on the ball! When McCoy turned his head around on the one play at the goal line he should have had a pick!

Banks had a crap game plan. We didn’t get pressure. It’s happened before. Chavez (Julio Cesar?) was widely regarded as an elite DC but he lost several games giving up third and long. Idk if I would call Banks elite or anything but he’s had a pretty good year statistically.

Either the staff over stated the DL’s capability or they thought they were better than they are. Ole Miss didn’t blitz so I guess they thought we could do the same. This is why I said the DL got exposed tonight.
The thing about Bobo though is I compared the ingenuity of some of his play calling and play design to ours and it’s like our offense has no more than 10 plays and that’s it.

OP made the classic mistake in this thread of listening to what UGA fans say about their own team/coaches. While their football team might be pretty good most years, UGA fans are the most stupid fans, football knowledge wise, in the SEC (and in other ways as well). The wives of most Vol fans have superior football knowledge to most UGA fans. Georgia fans wanted to bench Stetson Bennett up until his last game and he won them 2 national championships.
Mike Bobo is actually a pretty good coach. He coached Matt Stafford and Aaron Murray and has had multiple offenses that were top third in the league. We now have a record of 2-8 against him as UGA's offensive coordinator.
