Very good team. No question that they should be number 1. Don’t get me wrong on that. We hung right there with them tonight… if we were overmatched, it sure didn’t feel like it.

When they had that base running mishap, I think it was Lipsius, I kinda felt like we would keep it close after that. And we did. Nolan Crisp did a really nice job. They had plenty of hard hit balls off of him, but a lot went for outs and that’s that benefit of throwing the ball over the plate. Michael Polk managed to get some outs, though the HR was disappointing to his first hitter. We still have basically all the bullets in the gun for the next two games. I’m sure Rokose could throw again too.

We can beat these guys tomorrow. If you didn’t know their record and didn’t have access to their stats, you’d walk away from tonight feeling fine about tomorrow.
