Some of y'all are too invested into who the QB is to be objective at this point. And I say that as someone who prefers we start JTD over Stet. But I've said all along this TEAM can win a national title with either QB, and it remains true today.

Stetson has put up a top 5 in nation qbr and helped us blow the doors off of 6-7 teams we often only beat mildly or moderately
AND
Mr Jeremiah Trotter Daniels has waaayy too frequently looked like warmed over dogshit in dozen plus practices since being “cleared”.
Folks want to keep discounting the most obvious reason/answer. I guess old Occam must’ve stolen a lot of you guys’ girlfriends.
If Daniels wants his starting position back he needs to start performing massively better in practice.

But I guess the fact that even when our offense was struggling against the Gators and their ex Head Coach the defense always bailed us out. Whenever they don’t we’re screwed. So hopefully at some point Stetson will actually perform as well as your sources claim he does in practices. Better hope at this point that the the defense can hold the next two opponents under 24. Seems to be our max with this offense against better competition.

(This one struck me as particularly funny considering how that game turned out. Had more to do with Monken's blind spot in practice due to Stetson's perceived ceiling coming out of high school and from a JUCO.)

Stetson is the power 5 quarterback who is asked to do the least. He has a huge talent advantage going into every matchup, he's only asked to throw the ball 20 times and his defense literally gives up seven points per game. It's still boggles my mind that there's a large portion of our fan base that is impressed by this output. He's not doing anything. Any other average QB could not do.
The moment there is any pressure applied to Stetson to make a play, he starts turning the ball over and he folds up like a lawn chair. I predict this will continue and it will cost us a championship..
