may not of had the overall talent of the 21 and 22 teams, but this Defense might of been one of the most underated units under Kirby Smart. Yes, they had a bad first half against Bama but other than that they played their hearts out. They totally dominated Clemson out of the gate, kept their first 3 opponents out of the endzone, Tenn Tech, Kentucky and Clemson. They totally dominated Texas in Austin and giftwrapped the O with great field position the whole first half. Ole miss game was tough but the O kept them in bad position throughout the game, but other than giving up 2 TDs they held them to 4 FG's throughout the game. Another lockdown performance in the SECC and gave up only 13 points, gave up only 16 points in the Sugar Bowl. Would love to see next years unit equal or surpass this past years unit.
