In regards to killing gators! And in the history of college football. I think the greatest player of all time! And I think the AP voters voted him the greatest player in the 20th century
He was incredible all three years versus Florida. Incredible in his freshman year and he was taken out pretty much at halftime in his junior year because I think we beat them 44 to 0.
His most impressive stats might’ve been the 1981 Florida game when he carried the ball over 40 times and let us to victory on a very long drive in the fourth quarter
To me the crazy thing about Herschel Walker was everybody knew he was getting the ball and they still couldn’t stop him

If you were lucky enough to see Herschel play between the hedges or in Jacksonville I’d love to hear about it. All I can do is watch old film. I didn’t start watching Georgia football until 1984.
