Despite the national media attention (USA Today, ESPN et al.) around, and UCF's denial that it was involved with, UConn's unilaterial creation of the "Civil Conflict" trophy, UCF is secretly embracing UConn's logic. I.e.,

The Civil Conflict Trophy (UConn v. UCF),

which UConn claims is in their favor 1-0 (but actually 1-1)​

So in the spirit of UConn's idea, with UCF's similar, limited rivalry with USF ...

The War on I-4 Trophy (UCF v. USF),

is now 2-0 in UCF's favor (and no longer 2-4)​

UCF will also be unilaterally creating new trophies for even more limited rivalries. E.g., with the SEC ...

The Just Shy of I-75 Trophy (UCF v. UGA),

is now 1-0 UCF (and no longer 1-1)​

And ...

The Seminole Speedbump** Trophy (UCF v. Bama),

which is now 1-0 UCF (and no ... oh wait, that's actual)
