Our defense, must and I mean must, start getting 3 and outs. As good as our offense was against Tennessee. Our TD drives Saturday night were 75, 84, 87, and 92 yards respectively. Repeating that thru a playoff run is highly unlikely. We need some short fields. We need to make the other teams defense go right back on the field after a 84 yard drive.
UMass won't tell us much. But Tech is absolutely a great offense to see what we can do. They love grinding out first down after first down. Not many explosives in their offense. They are going to want to shorten the game, and keep our offense off the field. Let's see if we can force them out of that scenario.
