only been once when crenshaw won in 95, had never hit a golf ball
and knew nothing about the game, but I did know the masters was a big deal.
Grown men in tears at the end. Since then I started playing the game and appreciate having been there more. Harvey Penick (sp?), crenshaw's teacher and apparently one of the most well known golf coaches ever died the week prior to masters. Which made the win emotional for crenshaw and apparently spectaters as well.
I saw one man, in tears, point to the sky and say, "That was for you Harvey".
Even though I love the game now, the bromance and tears was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen at a sporting event.
