I've rented trucks from a private owner on turo. Not sure why this is news or needs to be reported.
This attack sounds similar to the one in Germany a week ago. Hopefully this is not a trend going on world wide.
Probably has the minimum they could possibly get or didn’t even notify their insurance company that they were using the truck for Turo

The whole thing is bizarre.
Assuming the current public narrative, what would make most sense was the guy was suicidal and underestimated the strength of the Tesla which minimized collateral damage. We do know the guys wife hated Trump, so the most obvious narrative checks out from that story.
But even within that simple story, there are a variety of oddities.
