1) When the citizen understands they can vote for benevolence from the country

2) When the politician understands he can sell benevolence

Benevolence from the government contradicts the very foundation of our economic system and places the citizen in a master/slave relationship with the government as the citizen is controlled and led on a monetary promise that is not based on value of responsibility of the citizen to society, but the value of the citizen to the politician.

Government benevolence is redistribution of wealth and once that occurs, the citizens voice is quieted.

When a politician promises a handout, they are feeding the hogs for slaughter. Hogs are fed for a single reason.

So you're saying when Trump promises to extend his tax cuts for the very wealthy, he's being benevolent?

Nope.

When a politician promises to move money from one taxpayer and give it to another so they gain a vote. THAT benevolence is dangerous.

The tax the wealthy mantra is so naive DBG.

You incentivize the tax structure for the promotion of initiative and risk. When you promote initiative and risk, you build industry and create jobs which fuels the tax base.

This “tax cuts for the very wealthy” ridiculous mantra comes from the unaware. While I’m not wealthy, I encourage any actions the government can make to encourage and build business.

Or, as my post referenced, we can just tax out business risk takers and initiative and have the government provide for us…….. but the catch is the gov doesn’t make money, it only redistributes money.

The “wealthy” you reference end up being the very politicians who gained power to secure a vote. So the rule makers control us, having power over us.

Trumps plan incentivizes private development of wealth through initiative and risk.

Look at any country who has given central government the keys. Rich political lords and countries and cultures who collapse on themselves.

The rich and powerful politician doesn’t care, they are rich and powerful on our backs.

The evil private business rich is right out of a communist tilted manifesto.

You are ALWAYS left with rich leaders who want the power.
