Down 28-0 on the road at night against possibly the most storied college program in history where they have everything clicking seemed like the darkest and deepest value ever for us…yet, despite all our mistakes and everything working against us, this team did not cave, did not rollover, did not quit!
In fact they battled back to take a brief lead leaving the Bama fans stunned and ready to go on suicide watch. It was a glimpse of utopia! And though it was brief and we again trailed…they were again in agony as we marched down the field. If not for one final pass a bit off mark, it would have been crushing for them, worse than the kick six!
They had home field advantage, a nighttime crowd and an incredible start where everything just clicked to go along with 4 gifted TO’s and nearly did not survive.
Personally..,I would be more worried tomorrow as a Bama fan moving forward than that of a Dawg fan.
Our Dawgs will be just fine.
