going in for a physical next week. Just tired of being tired.

Always been a go-getter, work from can till can't. Noticed a bit of a slow down around 40, but four years later I've noticed a real "don't give flip" attitude setting in and staying around longer.

My get up and go done got up & went.

Pisses me off.

Anyone else been through this?

Enzyte or something like that. Everybody slows down. I was

50 before I starting noticing it.

exact same thing for me. HIT 40 and the"give a chit" went right out

the window. I don't think it is so much that I don't care. I think it is more that I have just realized that this is where I am and where I'll be rest of my life.

Better buckle up for 50. That's when it kicked in for me. IDGAS anymore

I just want to walk away from stress and simplify my life.

Travel is not the same either....

TRAVEL PLANS FOR 2015

I have been in many places, but I've never
been in Kahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Kahoots with
someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no
one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't
have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there,
thanks to my children, friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you
have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad
place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it
was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there
more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in
Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my
age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, but I don't
remember what country I was in. It's an age thing. They tell me it is very wet
and damp there.

New word to describe your condition

Exhaustipatid -- too tired to give a sheet.

Sorry to say, but you have get off that couch...

...if you aren't already exercising. I'm 55 and feel better than I did at 45, mainly because I didn't want to feel like crap any more so I got more active and realized I couldn't abuse my body any more if I wanted a chance at 80.

Same thing happened to me. Long story short. Wife gives me a testosterone shot every 2 weeks. I'm back to normal now.

Just worry about the things you can control. Chasing money was always good for me. Some people-heart attacks. When I go thru Willacoochee I always wave at the cops hiding behind the bldgs.

Honestly, I think around 50 you start to realize all the stuff you...

used to think was important, houses, cars, clubs, business, etc are a bunch of BS and don't really matter and you want to quit having to worry about so much stuff.

i ain't real sure letting my wife give me a shot of anything is worth the

risk. She might mistake antifreeze for testosterone.

I've been hitting that a little bit later.

I've crossed the half-century mark and this is where I've been noticing some changes. Thing is, when I was in my early-40s I went through a significant life change by way of going through divorce. I actually got a brand new lease on life through that. So, I went through this epic experience of joy, new found things in life, had some new relationships, new friends, etc. Yes, there were definitely negative aspects of it, as I have kids and my heart was sore for them. But we've come through it, thanks be to God and Him alone.

I married 5/6 years ago and have settled back in to day-to-day life, but in a different kind of mode, I guess. I have found that the most important thing in regards to what you are saying, is that I MUST.... MUST... exercise, and I mean regularly.

I've always been a trim person. I've always been able to eat whatever I want and as much as I like. For the first time in my life (seriously) I have started developing some fat around my waist line. If I don't work out and walk, this is what happens. My body is definitely changing. I think that transcends to us, psychologically as well.

Seeing your kids grow up and move on in their lives, that too will bring about a spiritual and psychological change. You get a more clear and vivid picture presented to you in living color, every moment of every day, as to what is truly important in life, and it ain't your doggone job... not anymore, at least (for me).

Macon, at Coliseum Medical. Archibold Memorial is a.....

a good hospital. My family has always been pleased with the care they've received there.

This kind of info is why we come to the CHATS!

I'm always looking to increase my vocabulary!
