CNN has pigeonholed their 2014 report on the genocide of ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine. The Eastern Ukrainians, mostly ethnic Russians, wanted to break away from the neo-Nazis that took over the democratically elected government in Kiev in 2014. Then the bombings started, and Eastern Ukrainians started dying.
