So if you told a Bama fan that their next coach would win 2 national titles in the next 10 years.....do you think they would take that deal? I don't know that they would.
And that is the problem for any coach that goes there, even if you have success that any other program would appreciate......not sure if it would satisfy that fanbase in it's current form. Now let them go wonder the desert against for 10 or 15 years like they did between Stallings and Saban, and expectations are reset, then you are fine.
It really will be almost impossible for whoever the next guy is, to make them happy.
