Our 15 year old Granddaughter was just diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer (PTC). They are sending her to a Doctor in Augusta for Surgery, then to an Endocrinologist.

What should we be concerned about? What treatments should we be looking at? Any idea on a prognosis?

My Dawg Brothers and Sisters are such a wealth of information. Thanks in advance.

And if so inclined, please pray for her. She is a Great Kid, Great Student and one I am extremely proud to call my Granddaughter.
