Todd Bowles as a safety? (from H.Holland 2023 class summary)

Troy Bowles - Heat-seeking missile. Absolutely will knock you out, but also plays disciplined. Played primarily at safety this year and honestly he played the position very well.. it wouldn’t shock me to see him eventually getting reps there but I believe he will start out at LB. You might would have to fight Schu to get him out of that room. Much more slender framed than CJ Allen and Raylen too, which is why he plays so fluidly at safety. He has a nose for the football and was a pick machine this year. I’m obliged to mention that he is the son of an NFL coach, so suffices to say he is pretty advanced mentally. Ohio St made this one a little tougher but was never a super-contested recruitment. Winning over the father of an NFL HC does speak volumes about the program though.
