1. Matt Stafford 2008 GT

24-39 for 407 yards, 5 TDs

having RICHARD SAMUEL (DGD) on KO return was brutal…we all remember that long TD run vs Arkansas where he ran through a hole larger than Jenna Jameson’s, but his fumble here just after halftime was a killer. defense could not stop anyone in 2h

2. Aaron Murray 2013 Auburn

33-49 for 415 yards, 2 TDs

absolutely disgusting prayer at jordan-hare finish, also should’ve been a penalty for one more play at the very end

aaron murray also doesn’t get enough credit for being the toughest qb in uga history for getting absolutely destroyed in games like 2010 AU, and the 2012 Bama blindside hit, and still coming back every single time

3. DJ Shockley 2005 Auburn

20-36 for 304 yards, 2 TDs, 40 yds rushing

Tra Battle concussed on 4th down pass play. Should’ve let them score instead of waiting for GW FG, btw

4. Eric Zeier 1992 Tennessee

18-26 for 326 yards, 1 TD

yes, he had two picks but if Hastings doesn’t fumble we win that game (‘no doubt in my mind.’ like Uncle Rico said)

5. David Greene 2003 LSU

20-44, 314 yards, 1 TD
completion percentage not great, but that was a TOUGH natty-winning defense at LSU. OL got poor DG murdered in the 2003 SECCG rematch

Honorable Mention - Jake Fromm 2018 SECCG vs Bama (FIRST HALF ONLY)

guy was absolutely on fire, ridiculous ball placement. mecole even dropped a perfect td pass and he still found nauta later down the seam…then the magic vanished in the 2H

*stetson basically never lost, so he’s not on here
