Tiger B Smith

1969 was the 17-year-old Tiger (Holger) with the idea of the band name "Tiger B. Smith" and new songs in the head with his wandering guitar audition on the train to Frankfurt at the record label Bellaphon. After Holly had played a few songs to the producer, the company was excited and started the production of the first LP "Tiger Rock"

The band quickly became known International and toured through Germany, Yugoslavia, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. The tours in the former Yugoslavia were sold out and alone in Belgrade came more than 10,000 fans to celebrate the rockers. This was followed by numerous radio interviews and TV broadcasts. The AFN American television broadcast a 45-minute Tiger Special, and made the band so popular with Americans. In addition to other items with the ORF, the Southwest and other German radio stations Tiger B. Smith was invited in 1971 as the first rock band to the Salzburg Festival.

In 1972, the follow up album "We are the Tiger Bunch". Appearances with Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, nectar, Elkie Brooks, Edgar Broughton, Susie Quattro, Middle. of the Road, Spencer Davis Group, UFO, Free and Deep Purple followed.

In 1974 he toured as a "one-man show"with the synth, which a year ago for the first time entered the market through Germany and had great success with the world first. The band toured with The Clash across the main German cities. Current bands like The doctors and the name Pants dead the band as pioneers of their music and describe it as part of their youth.

But despite the great success, Tiger B. Smith finished his career as a street boy and went back to his solo career before he added the mid-1980s as frontman of the band Tokyo's popular electro rockers about their own influence.
