We've been in contact with Nixon for months before he committed, same as we were with tunsil. I'm 37 and though I realize that Georgia won the sec title with Hershel and maybe there has been another, but I can't remember any others in my lifetime. 2016 recruits have no memory whatsoever of Georgia being anything other than an "almost". Personally, I'd rather take my chances with a "maybe" then settle for an "almost" and apparently there are a good many blue chip 17 year old football players who agree. Also, don't get you panties in a wad when the ncaa allegations amount to nothing but a few secondary violations for our football team. I hate it for you guys that you haven't been able to take advantage of a pathetic sec east over the last decade or so, but you weren't and now you hired a second rate coordinator as your head coach (Nicks yes-man) and will soon be sitting behind Tennessee and Florida in the division standings. At least Mizzou seems to be imploding so you won't be looking up at them anymore.
