I like UGA. I usually root for the dawgs. But y'all just fired your coach and we just won the sugar bowl and return our QB. Whether uga fans want to admit it or not. The trend is up for ole miss and flat for the dawgs. Hopefully Kirby can turn it around. I think uga fans need to be patient with him though. True Freshman QBs struggle in the SEC
UGA is 5-1 in Our last 6 games against The West. You've got no case, and not much of a program either.
The trend is Ole Miss has averaged 8.5 wins over the past 4 seasons, UGA has averaged 10 over that period. Ole Miss cheated to get there and will likely be put on probation. UGA didn't cheat and won't be facing probation. I like where We're at, and I like where we're headed even more.

But Ole Miss has been cheating. It was widely known when They stole Tunsil, and now these charges confirm what was being said all along.
I don't mind losing a recruit, but if what We all believe is going on is proved, I hope the penalty is bad enough to stop the rampant BS that has gone on in The SEC West for years.

Ole Miss has beaten Bama a couple of times, that is really it, good for Them, but it's very transient. I'll be shocked if UGA doesn't keep being a better program than Ole Miss, as We've been most years.

Patterson is an excellent player, no argument there. Eason has the bigger arm and will be drafted higher, but Patterson may or may not be the better college QB. We have a lot more than Eason though. Our 2015 class was much better than Ole Miss's and I'm betting our 1017 class will be as well.
I don't like losing players to cheaters. Minus that I wouldn't have a problem with Ole Miss.
I agree with the arm.. Dude has a cannon!! Looks just like Stafford. Hopefully less ints and more consistent in college though. Eason looks higher risk (not as polished, yet), high reward. Patterson is a few inches shorter but he can sling it as well as run. He looks a lot like chad kelly.

Eason was national POTY and He had 44 tds to just 3 ints as a senior, but Patterson clearly is more polished at this point.
As far as Our offense, Chaney runs a similar hybrid/pro style to what Bobo ran for Us, He uses the TEs more and He uses the shallow cross routes a lot like Petrino does though. We're well set up for Eason's strengths. Nauta is the highest rated TE to come out of HS in 5 years, I expect He'll be a big piece of the offense right away.
If everyone screams BS loud enough it becomes fact. Do boosters help recruits families out? Yes!! They do that in HS recruitment in Florida. UGA has guys that do it. Bobo was as good as any OC in CFB His last 3 or 4 years at UGA IMO. No doubt He got far too much flack from some fans. He's a DGD ( damn good dawg) and a good man, I hope He does well, but recruiting at CSU is a bear.
I was sure right away Tunsil was bought, it just made no sense otherwise. The WR from Florida is eerily similar, but Tunsil had a 2 year history with UGA and He turned in a matter of hours in His lone visit to Ole Miss, it stunk then and it still stinks today.

I followed the Tunsil recruitment. Hugh started recruiting him shortly after arriving at ole miss. Go back and watch the interviews if you don't believe me. He mentioned ole miss in his top list every interview. Just because most media didn't give them a shot doesn't mean they weren't in it.
Also. Miss state recently got in trouble for paying a player and giving him a car of some sort. They still can't recruit.

I don't recall Ole Miss even being mentioned till They talked LT into visiting a week before signing day. I know They weren't on the short list. In fact Tunsil was thought to be a UGA silent commit, I think He probably was. His Mom was completely sold on Her Son playing for Richt, then it's said Ole Miss made Her an offer She didn't refuse.
About the other recruits. Robert Ns brother was here, treadwells best friend was on our team, tony Conner was from one of our pipeline schools about 50 miles down the road. Tunsil came on the visit and we got him. Bought? Idk. He got a 4K zero interest loan on a shitty used car. That's not exactly life changing. The other recruiting classes. Like you said, were not great. Good for ole miss standards but nothing special. Now we can capitalize on a sugar bowl and putting some highly drafted dudes in the nfl. But.
