Seems odd since Trump was trying to get the restrictions lifted on bringing meds out of other countries that had deals with pharma that allowed the same drugs to be purchased at dramatically lower rates than the same drug in the U.S..

Obviously they have to move them back. We had quite a pharmaceutical industry in the ‘90s. I built some of it.

This has also become a National Security Threat. We need to move our pharmaceutical industries back to this country. We can’t depend on China to supply us this is crazy!🤪

Unfortunately, you’re right - but here we are.

Also, IMO - thinks China will have an answer for everything we try. Really think they would be ready to go war as a last answer if all else fails.

Who wants that?

Wish both would show more diplomacy and work this thing out privately. Should have been worked out this way from the very start. It’s risky and may get to be dangerous….enough is enough.

China is here to stay - they are not going anywhere without a fight.

This whole idea is silly. The factories are not coming back here, and we don't want them back. The American middle class is much wealthier now than they were in the 1950s. Nobody "likes" a job in a factory, but it's all we had. It would take 10+ years to build a state of the art factory here and we will have had 2 presidents after this Trump term before that happens.

All these tariffs will do is create inflation, sow uncertainty in the markets, and serve as the largest tax increase in US history.

Republicans are on the right side of almost every issue in the USA and we are fumbling as we run out the clock for the victory.
