I do commercial ice machines where we lease them to restaurants. So there is a local owner who is a huge Tech fan. He’s building out a restaurant and inquired about pricing. It’s a bigger than normal ice maker… 15k my cost. So I price it, he says he wants it. But didn’t need it until December. I typically have them sign paperwork prior to ordering unit… but due to supply chain issues they are difficult to get. I found one and called the guy.. this is in October. He gives me a verbal yes without signing paperwork! I’m a idiot move… so I order it. Here it is December and he want answer the phone or text. So here comes the the real pissy part… I sent him a text and told him I was coming to see him. He send me a text and said “can’t do your ice machine” My reply… what?? His next reply… “Go Jackets! “
