They act surprised, if not incredulous, if the GOP doesn’t run around with their hair on fire like they do. Journalism is absolutely dead in this country. At this point, the overwhelming majority of journos are simply agents of the state. Instead of receiving information from government sources and then doggedly investing to ensure they aren't being used as propagandist, they simply run their source's story. Otoh, if they receive info of corruption about the government, they have actually been caught dismissing true stories as debunked.

They have their privileges for the purpose of watching the people that watch us but they have become tools for those that want to exercise total government control. It's gotten so bad that people that simply want to be left alone and have government power reduced and constantly checked are now being called fascist.
