2008- 16th with 13 games played
2013- 15th with 13 games played
2022- 15th with 15 games played
2023-11th with 14 games played
2024- 12th with 14 games played
The year we finally got a 1000 yard WR we ranked 39th in the country in passing yards per game. It was done in 14 games.
Other years we ranked very high in passing yards per game.

I can't find the rankings for these years, but in 1993 and 1994 we averaged 323 and 338 pypg, but did not have a 1000 yard WR.
Eric Zeier had the most passing yards for a career in the SEC when he finished. He did not have a 1000 yard WR.
David Greene had the most passing yards for an SEC career when he finished. He had only one 1000 yard WR.
Aaron Murray holds the career record for most passing yards in SEC history. He did not have a 1000 yard WR.

5. Kyle Trask (2020): 0 WR that went over 1000 yards (Toney had 984 yards in 11 games)

Trask's 2020 season was a Covid shortened 12 game season and Toney opted out of the bowl game 16 yards shy of a 1000.
Nussmeier's 2024 season was done in 13 games. Lacy (RIP) only played in 12.
This would be hard to accomplish if we were trying to do it.
