Abortion is a nothing issue. The people have spoken.

Murder is a state crime, not a federal crime.
Trying to drag it into the national discussion only hurts the chances of beating the democrats. Its what they want you to do. It's a loser on the national scene. It is a local issue.

- Drug-related murders. Drug violence may be a federal crime and any murder that occurs may be tried as a federal murder.

Well man, I was just clarifying since you said (with no caveats) "Murder is a state crime, not a federal crime." The point being, the federal government can add to "the list", as they see fit. I'm not arguing either way, but making statements that are easily shown to be incorrect doesn't help your argument.

I consider it a human moral issue, but in regards to our country and its laws, it’s a state issue. State sovereignty is a foundational truth in the founding of our country.
Human beings killing conceived life is just beyond human behavior.
I consider it immoral. But the fact is, the majority favors it in some form. Whatever the various states decide is the end of the story. We can keep talking about it but talk won't raise a dead horse. It will only make us appear to flail against reality like some democrat defending transgender manure. In time, the majority will speak on that issue also.
I'm not comparing the two issues. I'm just saying that politically, they are both losers.
The Republican position is to allow states to determine their abortion laws as with most governmental issues.
The Democrat position is centralized government control of all laws, circumventing state sovereignty.
When you hand the keys to the Fed, you have complete control of the citizen and the citizen loses representation.
Socialism, communism, and dictatorships all demand and prosper under central government control.
